Email Campaign Marketing Example
Joe Paquet is a fine artist that works and teaches in St. Paul Minnesota. I build his first website for him back in 2006. He’s an amazing traditional landscape oil painter who has refined his techniques and skills over a lifetime of observing nature.
Joe was reticent to move into the online world at first. But I kept offering ideas and suggesting ways that we could expand his business. ‘Just the website for now’ he would say. However a few years ago he finally gave in and let me build a newsletter campaign for him.
In a surprisingly short time Joe saw amazing results from the newsletters and they have become the cornerstone of his business promotion. His new paintings appear in the email newsletter first, then Instagram & Facebook, and finally the website. This pattern rewards people who sign up for the newsletter by giving them the first view of the painting. We also promote his upcoming workshops and classes in the newsletter.
The last item is always a sold painting and that’s the best part, his sales are up and his classes sell out quickly. The number of people signed up to receive the emails has doubled several times and the open rate is an astounding 70%.
