This property management website design for MN Renter presents all their rental units including an interactive map and great photography. Innovative is a property management company handling properties throughout the Minneapolis Metro area. The website’s goal is to find potential tenants and rent the available apartments. The process is to provide useful information, images and details in a convenient and helpful way.
Maps Integration for Location-based Marketing
As the old adage goes, the three most important factors in real estate are: location, location, location. So the top of the home page is an interactive map showing the locations of available properties. Visitors can also select a Minneapolis neighborhood and see apartments in just that area, either by the pulldown menu or the search tool. These sections have localized interstice maps as do the individual apartment pages.
Website Photography
In addition to designing, building and writing the website, I also took most of the photos on the site. I love my home town of Minneapolis and frequently go on photo adventures, so I have lots of city pictures I can use on the sites I build. Also, I photograph the apartment interiors.
Search Engine Optimization
The most effective approach to Search Engine Ranking is to provide lots of useful content in a site structured in a certain way. This site takes advantage of the opportunities afforded by a business model like this. Each apartment has lots of data, including physical location, photos, keywords, amenities and more. How this information is presented is critical to the site’s success.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics provide valuable user behavior data that I use to adjust and expand the website. A simple example: right after I launched the site, I noticed the most visited page after the home page was the page that showed all their properties, not the one with the vacancies. I made a few minor adjustments and the traffic moved over to the vacancies page.
